Raison de Joie D

• bay AWR colt, born 2002, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Krystal Heiress (TB)
• Congratulations to owner Elly Schobel (SC)! Raison de Joie won the AWR class at Devon and placed a strong second in the open 2-year-old colt and gelding class. He was also a member of the 3rd placed Breeder's Group and the 5th placed Get of Sire class.
• Raison de Joie thus ends his first year of showing as 4th in the USDF HOY rankings for 2-year-old colts and geldings!

 

Roi Soleil D

• 17.1h bay AWR stallion, born 1999, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Colin (Holst.)
• Congratulations to trainer/rider Mark Stopford, presenting DreamTime Farm's stallion at the MSEDA Breeders' Classic and at Devon! At the MSEDA Breeders' Classic, Roi Soleil D won his materiale class and was Reserve Mature Horse and Reserve Stallion Champion.
• At Devon, Roi Soleil D was 3rd in Stallions under Saddle and 6th in the Stallion class. He also was a member of the 3rd placed Breeder's Group and the 5th placed Get of Sire class.

 

 

 

Regal Dancer

• chestnut AWR filly, born 2003, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Cotton Socks (TB)
• Congratulations to breeder/owner Lucinda Masterton (KY)! At the Lamplight Region 2 Championships, Regal Dancer won her yearling class with the super score of 79.8%; her trot was rated an 8.5!

• 17.1h chestnut AWR gelding, born 1998, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Little Doozie (TB)
• Congratulations to owner, trainer and rider Elly Schobel (SC) on placing a strong 5th in a field of 15 at the National Championships for FEI 6-Year-Old Dressage Horses in Lexington, KY, the only American-bred horse to place in the top 10 and winning the Best American Bred Award!!! Then Elly crowned her season by winning the 6-year-old class at Devon with a 76%!!!

 

Rothenburg

• chestnut AWR colt, born 2004, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Penny Lane (Holst./TB)
• Congratulations to owner Peggy McFadden - Rothenburg was Site Champion and scored an 8.4 at the AWR inspection in KY in September.

• Congratulations to owner Jenni Weisbecker - Ushuaia D scored an 8.0 at the AWR inspection in KY in September and received a First Premium Premier rating.

 

 

 

Raison de Joie D

• bay AWR colt, born 2002, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Krystal Heiress (TB)
• Congratulations to owner Elly Schobel (SC)! In his second show, the MSEDA Breeders' Classic in Lexington, KY, Raison de Joie D was Reserve Grand Champion, Young Horse Champion and Colt Champion!
• Also congratulations for receiving Raison de Joie's breeding license on the same weekend at the AWR inspections in KY with an overall score of 8.1! Judge Dorit Kothe described him as the "stallion for the future as sporthorse sire with emphasis in dressage." This makes Raison de Joie D the third approved son of Regulus!

• Congratulations to owner Beth Weisberger - In only his second start, Rasputin won at Beginner Novice at Gemwood Horse Trials on his dressage score of 33 penalty points!!!

 

Audrey

• bay Hanoverian mare, born 1997, by A Jungle Prince - Forrest xx - Wanderer - Grande
• We are absolutely thrilled to announce the inclusion of the lovely Champion mare Audrey into our broodmare band. Betsy LaBelle's Elite Mare Candidate had a stellar 2003: she was Mare Champion at Devon, top scoring mare of the AHS inspection tour, and 3rd in the mare performance test. She immediately caught in foal to our senior stallion Regulus, and we're excited to see her first foal in 2005.
