R'Romeo - bay AWR gelding, born 2000, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Irish Sky (TB)

Congratulations to owner and rider Christina Lawton (OH)! Christina and R'Romeo ended the year in style, coming in 1st out of 61 on their dressage score to win the American Eventing Championship at Novice.
Moving up to Training at Jump Start, they finished a strong 4th out of 20 starters. They also finished Training at Poplar Place.

Vanity Fair D - bay AWR filly, born 2005, by Pine Ridge (TB) out of Memories Forever (Holst.)

Congratulations to new owner Meris Greges (KY) on the purchase of Vanity Fair D! We'll follow their career in dressage over the next years and wish them lots of success.

Rubikon D - bay AWR gelding, born 2000, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Ololokwe (TB)

Silver Wonder - gray AWR filly, born 2007, by Silver Twist (Trak.) out of Wonder Willie (KNWP)

Congratulations to Breeder/Owner Bob Vitale on the inspection result of the first Silver Twist foal to come before judges. This lovely filly scored a 7.6 at her AWR inspection for a First Premium.

Roman Michelangelo - dark bay AWR gelding, born 2004, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Mischievous Moon (TB)

Congratulations to new owner Betsy LaBelle (FL) on the purchase of Romie. We hope to see them both in the future competing in FEI level dressage.

Count of Hearts - bay TB stallion, born 2001, by Count the Time out of Four Bridges

Congratulations to rider Frauke Pachan (Germany)! On August 12, our young TB stallion Count of Hearts made his jumping debut at the Hunter/Jumper show at Champagne Run in the 2' division and exhibited lovely hunter form.
Just a few weeks later, Count and Frauke had a dressage score of 24 (with two 9s!) in their first outing in Starter at Champagne Run's Minitrial at the KY Horse Park, ran a flawless cross country and had unfortunately a baby mistake rail in stadium, so after leading up to that point, they finished third.

Sidhe D - bay AWR mare, born 2002, by Pine Ridge (TB) out of Memories Forever (Holst.)

Congratulations to rider Declan Harding (Ireland)! After showing herself very successfully in the dressage ring last year, Sidhe is now exhibiting her jumping talent with Declan. Sidhe and Declan exhibited at the hunter show at Champagne Run and came home with two 2nd place ribbons in the 2'6" division on August 12.
Just a few weeks later, Sidhe and Declan finished a strong third in Beginner Novice at the Champagne Run Minitrial at the KY Horse Park with double clears in both stadium and cross country.

Sassenach D - bay AWR mare, born 2002, by Titan aka Barrabadeen Fortune (Holst.) out of Jolie D (Holst.)

Congratulations to rider Frauke Pachan (Germany)! On August 11, Frauke and Sassy won the 2'6" jumper class and were second in the 2'9"-3' class at the Hunter/Jumper show at Champagne Run.

Zena D - bay filly, born August 2, 2007, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Grande Tiara (Old.)

Here she is, just four hours old! Our long awaited foal out of Grande Tiara, the former 4th level champion of Becky Knollman, is a huge, leggy, uphill filly - she's strong enough to twirl canter pirouettes already on day one.

Nimue D - gray AWR mare, born 1998, by Franat (Holst.) out of Krystal Heiress (TB)

Nimue's owner/rider Tommy Whitehouse was so nice as to let his favorite hunt horse be part of the Ponyclub Championships at the KY Horse Park. Here she is competing in the International Team Jumpers at 3'3" - what incredible form and scope she has!

Rani D - gray AWR mare, born 2001, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Krystal Heiress (TB)

Congratulations to Jenny McFall (CA) and Rani D! They competed again at Novice and led after dressage and showjumping (easy to understand when you see her jump here), and only a small mistake in x-country kept them out of first place.

R-Time Piece - bay filly, born 2006, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Buck Creek Anny (TB)

Huge congratulations to Martha Lambert (KY)! The adorable yearling filly Time Piece went to Champagne Run at the Park at the KY Horsepark only 11 days after having been taken out of the field to participate in the new USEA Event Horse Prospect Breed Show and walked away with the Grand Championship and the Filly Championship with a score of 82%!!!

Congratulations to Katrina Fanning (KY)! Katrina and Roo earned 2nd place in Training on their dressage score with clean rounds both in x-country and stadium on a maxed-out course that eliminated scores of riders at Champagne Run at the Park in KY!

Riley - bay colt, born June 25, 2007, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Our Miss Hope (TB)

Congratulations and condolences to Catherine Sweeney (MT)! Her sweet mare produced this lovely colt, the second Regulus baby for her, but then died of a ruptured bloodvessel only an hour later. So now Catherine has to raise Riley with a bucket, as she couldn't find a nurse mare. However, Riley is thriving and already drinks 5 gallons a day of replacement milk!

Raison d'Etre - chestnut AWR gelding, born 1998, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Little Doozie (TB)

Huge congratulations to Elly Schobel (SC)! On June 30, Elly and Raison d'Etre won their first Intermediaire I with a whopping 70.7% in Tryon, NC!

Raconteur D - dark bay AWR gelding, born 2002, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Our Miss Hope (TB)

Congratulations to Kristen Burgers (VA) on the purchase of Rocky! She looks forward to event him in the near future, and we're excited about this pair. Already at their first schooling show in dressage, they won one class and came in fourth in the other!
Rocky and Kristen followed up a second and a fifth at another dressage show (up to 69% in Training Level) with wins in their first hunter show over 2'3" and another win in their first starter horse trial!

Rhythm Twist - chestnut (will turn gray) colt, born June 13, 2007, by Silver Twist (Trak.) out of Rhapsody in Time (TB)

Congratulations to Wrenn Miles (IL)! She is the proud owner of Silver Twist's first foal, a big strong colt!

Razzmatazz - 16.1h bay AWR gelding, born 1997, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Ololokwe (TB)

It's great to hear from owner Anne Donelan (MA) and Reggie's oldest kid Razzmatazz. Anne wrote that Razz is a beloved member of the family whom she takes foxhunting and eventing. He and husband Mark seem to have formed a special bond, and Mark is now taking lessons on him. The photo shows them after their first trail-ride together - a man and his horse :-)

Savoir Faire D - bay AWR mare, born 2002, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Sweet Evil (TB)

Congratulations to rider Declan Harding (Ireland)! As a last minute substitution for Sidhe in the mini-trial on June 10 and without having ever done a dressage test, Savvy did more than well, coming in 2nd on her dressage score!

Sassenach D - bay AWR mare, born 2002, by Titan aka Barrabadeen Fortune (Holst.) out of Jolie D (Holst.)

Congratulations to rider Frauke Pachan (Germany)! Frauke took Sassy to her first beginner novice mini-trial on June 10, and the two did really well, finishing in the ribbons.

Congratulations to Jody Baumgartner (CO)! Her lovely mare Oxana Mae produced a big, strong filly!

Savoir Faire D - bay AWR mare, born 2002, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Sweet Evil (TB)

Congratulations to rider Declan Harding (Ireland)! In her first show under saddle ever on May 20, Savvy showed herself a total show pro, relaxed throughout waiting her turn in the jumper ring, and performing without mistakes. She eared a 4th place in the class Declan didn't go off course - as he said, there are numbers on the fences in Europe :-)

Huge congratulations to Elly Schobel (SC)! In her first CDI with Raison d'Etre at Paxton Farm, she came in 6th of 35 in the High Performance Prix St. Georges. This was only the third time that Raison d'Etre had done the PSG in competition!

Riley - chestnut pinto colt, born May 4, 2007, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Dentelle Tanné (Paint/CWB)

Congratulations to Kathy Johnson (PA)! Her interestingly bred pinto mare (Paint stallion, Canadian Warmblood mare) produced Reggie's second pinto foal, and what a nice, uphill fellow he is! Kathy states that "Reggie was a great cross on my mare, and I couldn't be happier!" We love to hear that :-) This photo shows Riley at three days old.

Raison de Croire - bay colt, born May 3, 2007, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Linear Lane (TB)

Congratulations to Elly Schobel (SC)! Linear Lane, winner of the TB class at Devon last year, produced an enormously correct, strong colt for Elly, who now has three Regulus sons in her barn. Elly just saw him trot, and said that her heart about stopped :-) This photo shows Cola at three weeks.

Congratulations to Elly Schobel (SC)! She was invited to participate in the Christoph Hess clinic in FL in April with her two Regulus sons Raison d'Etre and Raison de Joie. Christoph Hess, who already drooled over Raison d'Etre in 2004 when he saw him in the Dressage Symposium at the KY Horse Park, had only good things to say about his development as a future Grand Prix horse and gave Elly some valuable help in the piaffe work.

Rani D - gray AWR mare, born 2001, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Krystal Heiress (TB)

Congratulations to Jenny McFall (CA) and Rani D! Moving up to Novice, they were tied in a three-way tie for second after a clean stadium on their dressage score of 26. However, the tie was broken by whoever was closest to optimum time, and, as Jenny puts it, "Rani is a rocketship!" So they ended up 4th. "I've got a feeling we won't be at Novice for long..." said Jenny :-)

Sassenach D - bay AWR mare, born 2002, by Titan aka Barrabadeen Fortune (Holst.) out of Jolie D (Holst.)

Congratulations to rider Frauke Pachan (Germany)! In their first outing in dressage, they scored 65.9% for 2nd place in Training Level 2.

Zoë D - bay filly, born March 22, 2007, by Pine Ridge (TB) out of Memories Forver (Holst.)

Here's our first foal of the year, just a few minutes old, born, as usual, during the day (Memories prefers daytime foaling - I love that mare - no messy stall). No problems for mother and daughter (mother didn't even break a sweat); the other pregnant mares are observing carefully :-)

	Riley - bay colt, born June 25, 2007, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Our Miss Hope (TB) Congratulations and condolences to Catherine Sweeney (MT)! Her sweet mare produced this lovely colt, the second Regulus baby for her, but then died of a ruptured bloodvessel only an hour later. So now Catherine has to raise Riley with a bucket, as she couldn't find a nurse mare. However, Riley is thriving and already drinks 5 gallons a day of replacement milk!
	Raison d'Etre - chestnut AWR gelding, born 1998, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Little Doozie (TB) Huge congratulations to Elly Schobel (SC)! On June 30, Elly and Raison d'Etre won their first Intermediaire I with a whopping 70.7% in Tryon, NC!
	Raconteur D - dark bay AWR gelding, born 2002, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Our Miss Hope (TB) Congratulations to Kristen Burgers (VA) on the purchase of Rocky! She looks forward to event him in the near future, and we're excited about this pair. Already at their first schooling show in dressage, they won one class and came in fourth in the other! Rocky and Kristen followed up a second and a fifth at another dressage show (up to 69% in Training Level) with wins in their first hunter show over 2'3" and another win in their first starter horse trial!
	Rhythm Twist - chestnut (will turn gray) colt, born June 13, 2007, by Silver Twist (Trak.) out of Rhapsody in Time (TB) Congratulations to Wrenn Miles (IL)! She is the proud owner of Silver Twist's first foal, a big strong colt!
	Razzmatazz - 16.1h bay AWR gelding, born 1997, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Ololokwe (TB) It's great to hear from owner Anne Donelan (MA) and Reggie's oldest kid Razzmatazz. Anne wrote that Razz is a beloved member of the family whom she takes foxhunting and eventing. He and husband Mark seem to have formed a special bond, and Mark is now taking lessons on him. The photo shows them after their first trail-ride together - a man and his horse :-)
	Savoir Faire D - bay AWR mare, born 2002, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Sweet Evil (TB) Congratulations to rider Declan Harding (Ireland)! As a last minute substitution for Sidhe in the mini-trial on June 10 and without having ever done a dressage test, Savvy did more than well, coming in 2nd on her dressage score!
	Sassenach D - bay AWR mare, born 2002, by Titan aka Barrabadeen Fortune (Holst.) out of Jolie D (Holst.) Congratulations to rider Frauke Pachan (Germany)! Frauke took Sassy to her first beginner novice mini-trial on June 10, and the two did really well, finishing in the ribbons.
	Roxana - dark bay filly, born May 29, 2007, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Oxana Mae (TB) Congratulations to Jody Baumgartner (CO)! Her lovely mare Oxana Mae produced a big, strong filly!
	Savoir Faire D - bay AWR mare, born 2002, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Sweet Evil (TB) Congratulations to rider Declan Harding (Ireland)! In her first show under saddle ever on May 20, Savvy showed herself a total show pro, relaxed throughout waiting her turn in the jumper ring, and performing without mistakes. She eared a 4th place in the class Declan didn't go off course - as he said, there are numbers on the fences in Europe :-)
	Sassenach D - bay AWR mare, born 2002, by Titan aka Barrabadeen Fortune (Holst.) out of Jolie D (Holst.) Congratulations to rider Frauke Pachan (Germany)! Starting off the jumping season in style, Frauke and Sassy ribboned in their first jumper show on May 20.
	Sidhe D - bay AWR mare, born 2002, by Pine Ridge (TB) out of Memories Forever (Holst.) Congratulations to rider Declan Harding (Ireland)! After showing herself very successfully in the dressage ring last year, Sidhe is now exhibiting her jumping talent with Declan. In this first jumper show of the season on May 20, she got better the higher the fences were and ribboned in her first 2'6" class.
	Raison d'Etre - chestnut AWR gelding, born 1998, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Little Doozie (TB) Huge congratulations to Elly Schobel (SC)! In her first CDI with Raison d'Etre at Paxton Farm, she came in 6th of 35 in the High Performance Prix St. Georges. This was only the third time that Raison d'Etre had done the PSG in competition!
	Riley - chestnut pinto colt, born May 4, 2007, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Dentelle Tanné (Paint/CWB) Congratulations to Kathy Johnson (PA)! Her interestingly bred pinto mare (Paint stallion, Canadian Warmblood mare) produced Reggie's second pinto foal, and what a nice, uphill fellow he is! Kathy states that "Reggie was a great cross on my mare, and I couldn't be happier!" We love to hear that :-) This photo shows Riley at three days old.
	Raison de Croire - bay colt, born May 3, 2007, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Linear Lane (TB) Congratulations to Elly Schobel (SC)! Linear Lane, winner of the TB class at Devon last year, produced an enormously correct, strong colt for Elly, who now has three Regulus sons in her barn. Elly just saw him trot, and said that her heart about stopped :-) This photo shows Cola at three weeks.
	R-Pair-a-Dice - bay colt, born April 23, 2007, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Buck Creek Anny (TB) Congratulations to Martha Lambert (KY)! Her mare foaled the first Regulus baby of the year, a strapping bay colt, just what she wanted.
	Rubikon D - bay AWR gelding, born 2000, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Ololokwe (TB) Congratulations to Katrina Fanning (KY)! Katrina and Roo earned 4th place at the rainlogged Spring Bay event in Training!
	Raison d'Etre - chestnut AWR gelding, born 1998, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Little Doozie (TB) Congratulations to Elly Schobel (SC)! She was invited to participate in the Christoph Hess clinic in FL in April with her two Regulus sons Raison d'Etre and Raison de Joie. Christoph Hess, who already drooled over Raison d'Etre in 2004 when he saw him in the Dressage Symposium at the KY Horse Park, had only good things to say about his development as a future Grand Prix horse and gave Elly some valuable help in the piaffe work.
	Rani D - gray AWR mare, born 2001, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Krystal Heiress (TB) Congratulations to Jenny McFall (CA) and Rani D! Moving up to Novice, they were tied in a three-way tie for second after a clean stadium on their dressage score of 26. However, the tie was broken by whoever was closest to optimum time, and, as Jenny puts it, "Rani is a rocketship!" So they ended up 4th. "I've got a feeling we won't be at Novice for long..." said Jenny :-)
	Sassenach D - bay AWR mare, born 2002, by Titan aka Barrabadeen Fortune (Holst.) out of Jolie D (Holst.) Congratulations to rider Frauke Pachan (Germany)! In their first outing in dressage, they scored 65.9% for 2nd place in Training Level 2.
	Zoë D - bay filly, born March 22, 2007, by Pine Ridge (TB) out of Memories Forver (Holst.) Here's our first foal of the year, just a few minutes old, born, as usual, during the day (Memories prefers daytime foaling - I love that mare - no messy stall). No problems for mother and daughter (mother didn't even break a sweat); the other pregnant mares are observing carefully :-)
	R'Romeo (formerly Regal Gunther) - bay AWR gelding, born 2000, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Irish Sky (TB) Congratulations to owner and rider Christina Lawton (OH)! They won their first outing at Novice in Aiken, SC on their dressage score!
	Nel - bay mare, born 1998, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Lindy Star Flower (AQHA) Congratulations to owner and rider Karen Reid (OH)! Nel was declared the Ohio Hunter Jumper Association's Grand Champion, Pregreen Champion and Low Reserve Champion for 2006!
	Rani D - gray AWR mare, born 2001, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Krystal Heiress (TB) Congratulations to Jenny McFall (CA) and Rani D! In their second show ever they placed 2nd at Beginner Novice!
