Congratulations to new owner Joni Scates (TN) on the purchase of Sassenach D! With the expert help of Tiffani Loudon, Joni and Sassy will embark on a career in upper level eventing. We hope to see them at Rolex one day!
Joni and Sassy (new showname: Brash'n'Sassy) came in first in Novice on their dressage score of 27.89 at Pine Top HT!

Raison de Joie D

Congratulations to new owner Jacqueline Piro (VT) on the purchase of Raison de Joie! It was a hard decision for Elly Schobel to sell RJ, but she said that Jacqueline and RJ are a match made in heaven. We hope to see them compete at Grand Prix in the future and wish them the best of luck!

Raison d'Etre

chestnut AWR gelding, born 1998, by Regulus (Holst.) out of Little Doozie (TB)
Elly couldn't say enough about the ten day stay at Bettina Drummond's barn in Connecticut, where classical dressage is practiced the way it should be. And Bettina couldn't stop riding Raleigh, saying that no warmblood she'd ever ridden felt so light and was so much fun to ride. Elly said that she provided invaluable help in the three Ps and looks forward to training with her again in September.

Congratulations to Elly Schobel (SC)! Noteable, her former FEI mare and two times Cosequin Champion, produced an enormously correct, strong colt for Elly, who now has four Regulus sons in her barn. This one will be special!

Congratulations to owner/rider Beth Weisberger (OH)! She and "George" started the year in Florida with a 4th and 6th place in Prelim, and just ran 2nd in the open Prelim at May Daze!

Raison d'Etre

Huge congratulations to Elly Schobel (SC)! She and Raison d'Etre won the Intermediaire II at the Palm Beach Derby and were Reserve High Point!
Even bigger congrats are in order! Elly and Raison d'Etre have now won at Grand Prix in their very first attempt!
